Community Radio Training
The DC Radio Coop trains members of the community and college students and faculty in sound gathering, news reporting, proper use of equipment, computer literacy, and digital audio production. Such training serves as a tool for people to cover the world from their experiences and their communities, which would otherwise be overlooked by mainstream media.

Programming
We publish on dc.indymedia.org, the independent media center of Washington DC and have contributed locally to WPFW's Voices with Vision, Metro Watch, Spirit in Action, Sophie's Parlor, In Our Voices, Heal DC, What's at Stake, Earthbeat and Nightwolf. Nationally, we reported and produced for Free Speech Radio News, the National Radio Project, the Workers International Network, Pacifica's Women's Desk, as well as special programming for the first Pacifica LGBTQ Pride coverage, Supreme Court rulings, Pacifica's national elections and inauguration coverages, Peace Watch, Sprouts, and have Coordinated a 48 hours remote broadcast from Clearwater upstate New York for WBAI.
Community Coverage and Outreach
An intrinsic part of the Co-op is the continuous effort to reach communities, build partnerships, including other independent news agencies. Tapping into its relationship with more than 100 community-based groups, the DC Radio Co-op produces special on-air forums to delve into news lead discussions.
